As you learn the power to change your emotions, there will be times where you will not have the luxury to do a power pose. But a mental perspective can still be used.
If you look back at your past, there must be many events that seemed like the end of the world when they happened, like losing your favorite pencil as a child, failing a test, getting scolded by your boss, or a breakup. Today, years later, they probably do not even matter. In fact, there are probably many more that you have forgotten about completely.
So, the next time you find yourself worried about someone’s opinion or an event, ask yourself:
“Will this matter in 5 years from now?”
