Prepare

We want you to look at mind maps as an exercise for the balanced growth of your brain, both logical and creative. When you use mind maps to store information, your brain gets to run both logical and creative sides to put the map together. Over time, this makes you a holistic thinker, able to connect more right ideas at the right moment.

So, at least for the duration of this mission, make them your go-to tool for information synthesis and note-taking. And before starting, make sure your exercise gear is ready:

  1. Idea journal: A wide unruled notebook is the best but anything works. Alternatively, you can also use a phone or tablet (iPad, etc.)

  2. Sketch pens: Color makes mind maps more effective and fun but can slow you down. Use wisely depending on the subject of synthesis
